This Indy Car Race has taken place in Nashville for three consecutive years with a plethora of big name country music stars having performed at the event. This year is no exception, starting with Carly Pearce singing the national anthem on the first day. This news was announced on Music City Grand Prix’s social media on July 13.
“Carly Pearce is slated to sing the National Anthem for the The Big Machine Music City Grand Prix NTT INDYCAR Series race on Sunday, August 6th with a start time at 11:30am CST on NBC,” the caption wrote. “Pearce will perform her stunning rendition of the National Anthem LIVE at 11:11am CST prior to the race.”

“Music has been a big part of the experience since we launched in 2021 and this year is no different. We are bringing fans the best and brightest artists on the scene today,” President and COO of Big Machine Music City Grand Prix, Jason Rittenberry states. “Music programming will take place on the iHeartRadio FanZone stage during daytime hours Friday through Sunday, with our Freedom Friday evening concert kicking the weekend off in a big way on the main stage.”
Over the three days that this event takes place, they will have artists such as Flo Rida, Chris Jansen, Megan Moroney, Gavin DeGraw, Tim Duggar, and many more take the stage.
