CMA Fest Pregame — What’s going on in Nashville before CMA Fest?

CMA Fest comes to Nashville once a year.  It’s an entire week jam packed with country music and fun. Although CMA has its own events spread out across multiple stages throughout Thursday through Sunday, what is happening before CMA Fest begins?  Luckily we at Nash in Tune want to make sure your entire week is jam packed and exciting.

Monday:  The week will start out strong with a list of autograph signings (which you can definitely find me at Jon Langston and Canaan Smith) followed by an amazing line-up including headliner Kip Moore.  Best part is this is done just in time to watch our Predators take on the Penguins in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup.

Then you can come join us at The Country for our monthly show.  And pick up a pair of sunglasses to rock all week or a koozie to keep your drink cold in the Nashville heat.  We would love to meet some of y’all there!

Throughout the day on both Tuesday and Wednesday, The Valentine has short sets going on all day that are open to the public.

As the CMT Awards approach, some of the performers are using the days before as a rehearsal of sorts, but in front of the public.  And who wouldn’t want to miss a killer performance for CMT Crossroads of Dan + Shay and Earth, Wind, and Fire.  It’s sure to be a collaboration unlike any other.

Or if you prefer more of a bar type scene, join Whiskey Jam in the Loser’s parking lot in Midtown and see some amazingly talented up and comers, many of which have written some songs for your already favorites.

If you aren’t too tired from Tuesday’s activities (or too hungover), there is yoga starting at 6am and a dance party at 7am Downtown including some special performances.  More info.

After a little exercise and fun to get the blood flowing, head over to The Valentine on Broadway for some performances from some great muscians, including Drew Baldridge and Dylan Schneider.

Tonight is the night for the CMT Music Awards!  If you are not lucky enough to be one of those attending, consider going to the red carpet (no details yet) or watch from one of the bars with a viewing party such as Wildhorse Saloon, then stay for the free after party featuring Bailey Bryan and William Michael Morgan!
