Just Announced: 2018’s Country Music Hall of Fame Inductees

CMHOF Inductees 2018

Country Music power couple Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood announced this year’s inductees for the Country Music Hall of Fame. This is a highly anticipated annual announcement, followed by a formal induction at the Medallion Ceremony later in the year.

Johnny Gimble, a very important fiddler in Country Music, will be inducted into the Recording and/or Touring Musician category. Gimble’s kids honored him with a song.

Dottie West, a country power house and legend back in her day, will be inducted into the Veterans Era Artist category. West’s son, Kerry West, and dearest friend, Jeannie Seely, paid tribute to the first female Country artist to win a Grammy.

Ricky Skaggs, the most decorated Country Music artist has the honor to be inducted into the Modern Era Artist category. Skaggs has received fifteen Grammy awards  and eight CMA awards during his career. At Nashville’s CMA Fest in June, Skaggs will bring his band to perform for the Sunday, June 10th concert at Nissan Stadium for Country Music’s biggest festival.

Congratulations to Johnny Gimble, Dottie West, and Ricky Skaggs!
