Luke Bryan States He’s “Going To Slow Things Down”

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Luke Bryan, 46, has revealed that after an emotionally-taxing season with American Idol, he and his family are ready to “slow things down” and spend some more time together.

Bryan met with ET’S Rachel Smith and spoke about how he hasn’t been “balancing [life] this year,” and told his wife, Caroline Boyer,  that he wanted to “find a boat and go to the Caribbean.”

Even with Bryan trying to take more time for himself and his family, he still continues to state that he will continue to be posting and actively working. The most recent work for him was to headline the 50th Anniversary of CMA Fest.

“It’s all surreal,” Bryan gushed. “I’m glad that I can really calmly process it now. I used to get really excited and almost didn’t enjoy it, because I was so amped up.”

In the meantime, Luke is also promoting a new single and fixing to embark on his tour, “Country On Tour,” all while still working on a new album.

“I just try to go in the studio, find the best songs I can, write the best songs and sing them and make the best music I can and, you know, thankfully it’s worked for years and [I’m] just always excited to roll new music out,” Bryan stated after inquiring about the album.
