A new pizza joint, Night Train Pizza, opened in The Gulch for those who love to combine an ice cold brew with delicious pizza. The place is nestled between Gleaves St and Division St, above Rudy’s Jazz Room and Scout’s Barbershop.
The dining area has enough space to fit a party of any size, including intimate patio tables and a full bar with seating.
This is not your typical pizza concept. Night Train is unique with their revolving wood fired oven, evenly cooking each pizza. All pizzas take less than 8 minutes and are perfectly cooked each time. I was surprised that mine (Metro North) was ready in 3 minutes. After ordering, peek around the restaurant to see their beer can wall (4,000+) and watch them make your pizza.
I ordered to-go, but I suggest eating there to get the full experience of the retro pizza joint meets modern Nashville vibe.
