A group of female songwriters, Song Suffragettes, released a powerful song “Time’s Up” to combat the recent sexual harassment and assault against women in the workplace. “Time’s Up” was written by Kalie Shorr and Lacy Green, two Country artists who frequently play at The Listening Room Cafe for Song Suffragettes every Monday.

Profits from this song will be going to Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund. According to the National Women’s Law Center, Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund connects those who experience sexual misconduct including assault, harassment, abuse and related retaliation in the workplace or in trying to advance their careers with legal and public relations assistance.
