Billy Currington’s New ‘Wake Me Up’ Video Released

Billy Currington

Billy Currington, Universal Music Group and Mercury Records artist, released the lyric video to his newest single, “Wake Me Up”.

Followed by Currington’s recent mellow track “It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To”, “Wake Me Up” is an upbeat tune with a snarky message. The love for the girl is over who can’t seem to get over him. He won’t wake up for her anymore.

I might be drinking
At a bar down the street
I might be listening
To some song on repeat
I might be in my bed
But I won’t be asleep
Don’t you worry ’bout me

“Wake Me Up” is the fifth single from his recent album, Summer Forever. Other singles from the record include “It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To”, “Do I Make You Wanna”, “Don’t It”, and “Drinkin’ Town With A Football Problem”.
