Heading into The Back Corner on Tuesday night, you may have received a set of ear plugs. Why you ask? Because multi instrumentalist, composer, and producer Gavin Kennedy was getting ready to rock out on stage. The venue was bathed in purple and blue lights featuring amazing imagery on the back wall. The listening party was all in celebration of his debut album, Sunchaser dropping Friday.
Gavin took attendees through his album from start to finish. He ended with “An Ecology” which is a three-part song. For Gavin, this track is a musical representation of Gavin’s journey over the past five years. It’s a takes listeners on a journey of where Gavin started and where he is now.
