Just Announced: Kings of Leon at First Tennessee Park

Early this afternoon, Nashville Sounds and Live Nation announced their first concert, Kings of Leon on September 29, 2017 at First Tennessee Park. Facebook followers of the Sounds had a chance to watch the live feed of First Tennessee Park Concert Announcement Press Conference [watch below].

This Nashville American rock band started in Music City in 1999 consisting of Caleb Followill (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Jared Followill (bass), Matthew Followill (lead guitar), and Nathan Followill (drums). Even with the recent pause in releasing an album, their multiple hits over the years has led them to much success and anticipation with new album “Walls” which released in October 2016.

This year marks the 40th anniversary for The Nashville Sounds. It also marks their 3rd year at the new First Tennessee Park in Nashville neighborhood Germantown. Two thousand seventeen is the beginning of a partnership with Live Nation, a worldwide entertainment company.

It’s great to know that Nashville will be getting big names for concerts at the park with the Live Nation partnership. Adding Kings of Leon will surely sell out as quick as Ascend Amphitheater for their first show, Eric Church.

Brian Traeger, Live Nation, announced tickets are going on sale April 21st at 10am on Ticketmaster.
