Not too many country acts grace the stage of Saturday Night Live, but Kacey Musgraves got the long overdue honor this past episode. Her first performance of the night was her song “High Horse”, a funky banger with hints of retro disco beats, about ditching an overconfident lover. She followed it up by returning to more familiar roots with the lead song from Golden Hour, “Slow Burn”, a mellow jam to bring ease to the zany antics of the evening.
