Melanie Meriney‘s “Lifeboat” Music Video just released and premiered on Great American Country channel. You may have seen the waves she’s been making in Music City and overseas, but I’ll fill you in.
Melanie’s single “Lifeboat” has made it to number 3 on UK’s hot disc chart and is gaining traction on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart. She donated her sales from the single in September to Rebuild Texas Relief Fund. Melanie snagged spots on multiple Spotify playlists and is continuously getting more radio airplay.
“I tried to write a universal theme to this. It explains a bad hookup scenario but you don’t have to go through that in life to enjoy the song. It’s about indulging the devil on your shoulder. A lot of people will take the easy way out is it’s there but it’s not the right way. It’s about finally standing on your own, whether or not the truth you’re telling yourself is the best one to get over the hurdle.”
