In the late afternoon on Sunday, March 29, Thomas Rhett teased his fans on social media with a scheduled Instagram Live to make a special announcement on his birthday, March 30.
Rhett streamed for almost an hour for upwards of 20k fans, playing hit songs like “Beer Can’t Fix” with Jon Pardi, “Sixteen”, “Beer For Jesus”, and more!
Joined by Reba McEntire, Hillary Scott, Chris Tomlin and Keith Urban, “Be A Light” means “to be a light in a dark time. Being an encouragement to people.” Some of the proceeds go to the MusicCares Foundation for COVID-19 Fund, which helps people in the music community affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
