Parker McCollum releases first new single of 2020 entitled “Like A Cowboy” on April 10th. The Austin-based singer has released two albums and several singles since 2015 and signed to MCA Nashville in 2018. He’s received a lot of heavy play on Texas radio, so it’s great to see his music start to spread out to Nashville and the rest of the country. Written by Al Anderson and Chris Stapleton, “Like A Cowboy” evokes the spirit of being free as many cowboy songs have that come before. McCollum is able to bring his own sound of honesty and straight-forwardness while blending the familiarity of artists like George Strait and Garth Brooks.
