Congratulations are in order for Chris Lane and his wife Lauren Bushnell Lane! On October 16, they welcomed their new baby son into the world, name yet to be released. Lauren shared a video of their one-year-old Dutton meeting his new baby brother for the first time in the hospital. The video featured the now-family of four together in familial bliss. Little Dutton sported a T-shirt saying “Big Bro” on it. Lauren let Dutton know that she missed him and asked him if he wanted to see the new baby. This prompted Chris to carefully lower Dutton to Lauren’s hospital bed, where he smiled and giggled at his new baby brother.
Chris Lane shared his own snaps of the new family on his Instagram. “Life just got 8 Pounds Sweeter! Family of 4 Now!!” he captioned his post. In the comments, a flurry of stars congratulated him and Lauren on their new bundle of joy. Russell Dickerson, Randy Houser, and Seth Ennis were among the 1,000 and growing comments wishing the family well.
It was an exciting time when Chris and Lauren appeared at CMA Fest showing off to the world her baby bump. He quickly serenaded the crowd with an impromptu acapella performance of “Big, Big Plans”.
