Huge congratulations are in order for Cody Johnson on a major milestone, for his single “‘Til You Can’t” has landed at number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Billboard’s Country Airplay tracks radio plays throughout the US. The song, released last October, has already hit number one on Billboard’s Hot Country charts which tracks sales and streams along with accounting for some radio airplay. “‘Til You Can’t” has spent four weeks at the top of the Hot Country chart.
Cody took to his Instagram to thank his fans. “Huge thank you to Country Radio and to #COJONation for loving this song,” the caption reads. And how can you not love this song! It is a highly relatable song about taking chances, well, ’til you can’t take those chances any more. “Really live life until you can’t,” he said upon release of the single, “not only did [people] need to hear it, I needed to hear it.”
This determined anthem is a perfect first number one for Cody Johnson. Accolades have kept pouring in for Cody this week as well! He has been nominated for three CMT Music Awards. “‘Til You Can’t” has nabbed Cody nominations for Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year. He also has a nomination for CMT’s Digital-First Performance of the Year for his track “Dear Rodeo”.
