Erin Kinsey released her latest single “Vegas”, and while it doesn’t feature her eloping in Las Vegas, she does sing about loving someone enough to actually elope. It’s nothing she’d do herself, mind you! “I think my parents would me murder me,” Erin Kinsey jokes.
The accompanying lyric video to “Vegas” oozes glitz and glamour, as anything Las Vegas should. It features several outfit and backdrop changes. Surprisingly, it was all shot in one location! “The ones we used mostly were these ones that had a ton of metallic things behind them. It ended up looking like we were in a million different places, but really, all the video scenes were shot all in the same room. It was so cool,” Erin Kinsey says of the video
The theme of a love so strong and tempting rings through throughout the track. It seems likes she close enough to take the plunge, but she maintains that restraint to only a dream.
Maybe it could be Vegas
Find the chapel with the shortest waitlist
Pick the package where the preacher is Elvis
Wearing crushed velvet, singing the vows
Have our reception at the buffet
Talk a stranger into buying the champagne
Honey just as long as it’s you and me
I’ll go wherever love takes us
And maybe it could be Vegas
“It’s a song about just loving someone so much that you are ready to start forever tomorrow,” Erin says about her new track. The love she shares throughout is palpable and reaches through to listeners. Watch the video for “Vegas” below. Follow Erin Kinsey on Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram.
