The nominees for the 2023 Grammy Awards have been announced, and several of country music’s biggest stars have received nods. Of note in the general categories field is Brandi Carlile‘s two nominations. Brandi received two nominations: one for Record Of The Year for “You And Me On The Rock” (featuring Lucius) and one for Album Of The Year for In These Silent Days. “I watched these honors roll out this morning one by one holding [daughter] Evangeline’s hand and screaming!” Brandi wrote on Twitter after nominations were announced. “LOL Barely functioning today. I have no words.” In total, Brandi Carlile has seven Grammy nominations this year.

Country Acts React To Their Grammy Nominations

Several stars took to social media to share their excitement for their nominations. “I’m so honored to be nominated with some of my best friends,” shared Miranda Lambert. “Can’t wait to celebrate country music together. And a big congrats to all the nominees.”

Luke Combs expressed a simple sentiment. “Humbled. Honored. Thank you, @RecordingAcad,” he tweeted.

“I’m beside myself. Just beside myself,” stated Ashley McBryde. “Thank you @RecordingAcad for recognizing our music with these nominations! If anyone needs me… I’ll be right here. Beside myself.”
