Jeff Toth’s “Moonburn” gives healing message all throughout the recently released song, all while giving the listener an upbeat, springy tempo behind the lyrics.
Despite the infectious beat, the meaning behind the song is one that any person can relate to, in any way, shape, or form.
“I wrote Moonburn coming out of a dark emotional place,” Toth states. “This song is all about the catharsis that comes from letting go of old traumas and pushing forward into your life with a sense of adventure — it’s a triumph over your former self.”

Toth began writing parodies to songs to connect with his most loved artists, and that eventually transformed to the meaningful storyteller we hear on this single. Perhaps having been inspired by some of his favorite artists, Ed Sheeran, Hozier, and Maggie Rodgers, the storytelling we see in “Moonburn” is reminiscent to each of these artists.

Toth has been on The Voice, but with a voice and a natural knack for songwriting like he has, he is sure to rise far above the ranks and soar.
This year is the first year Toth has dove into music, but most certainly is not the last! Jeff Toth certainly has a fan in us, with many more to come!
