Kelsea Ballerini shares more to come from her next album with her latest single “Love Is A Cowboy”. Hot on the heels of her last single “Heartfirst”, Kelsea’s upcoming album will be her fifth, and she’s ready to show different facets of her artistry. “Only in the gift of growth have I learned that in the stark and constant juxtaposition of life, living happens. That when I unclench my fists, un-dig my heels and unravel the architecture built by youth, a true metamorphosis can happen,” Kelsea says of this evolution.
“Love Is A Cowboy” is a romanticization of the cowboys of Western lore. The titular cowboy cannot be tamed, and Kelsea sings of hoping to be the one to soften his edgy demeanor. The track takes a lot of Western sounds, straying away from the pop-country sound Kelsea fans are used to hearing.

“This is a season of becoming, healing, loving, dancing and feeling,” continues Kelsea. “And like everything, it is subject to change.” We’re looking forward to what these optimistic feelings have in store!
