Massachusetts native singer-songwriter Lena Stone released her EP Princess on April 24th. It’s a collection of some of the most recent singles she’s released as well as the title track “Princess”. This EP starts out strong with its playful “Kids These Days”, a 2019 release about holding on to youth. Also featured is a tender ballad about relinquishing control, “Out Of My Hands”. The titular “Princess”, though it evokes the fairy tales we’ve all grown up on, has a message of staying strong and not needing salvation from a prince charming or white knight.
Princess shows off Lena’s eclectic variety and powerful writing. Stream it below and make sure to follow Lena on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for new updates as well! Additionally, Lena is a featured performer in the group Song Suffragettes, who are livestreaming shows Mondays at 6 PM Central in lieu of their regular weekly shows at The Listening Café at that time. Check that out, too!
