The latest single from Little Big Town, “All Summer” is another preview of the group’s upcoming tenth studio album. On the heels of “Hell Yeah” released earlier this year, “All Summer” shifts to a more, obviously, beachy vibe. Litte Big Town liken this effort to one of the lyrics in the song, saying it’s “the perfect summer anthem for ‘drinking wine on the water.'” Member Karen Fairchild had a hand in writing the track.
“All Summer” features Little Big Town’s signature smooth harmonies. It’s got kinda a throwback feel to it, which is perfect for the postulating nature of the song. It references meeting someone at a pool, which leads to flirting, which leads to ruminating on what the rest of the summer could be like.
