Recent ACM’s Entertainer of the Year award winner Miranda Lambert has a new album coming out this year. As a preview of what’s to come, she’s released the first single of this new album Palomino entitled “Strange”. This song has a strong Western vibe reminiscent of driving hours through the desert. “Strange” tackles the theme of lamenting on the uncertainties of the world. It also serves as Miranda’s coping mechanism for these uncertainties.
Have a smoke, buy a round
Get on a jetliner goin’ anywhere-bound
Pick a string, sing the blues
Dance a hole in your shoes
Do anything to keep you sane
‘Cause times like these make me feel strange
Miranda’s strong and gritty voice along with the serene melody indicates another sign of excellence about to come. Palomino releases on April 29th, and we predict more accolades for Miranda. She likes putting unique spins on her releases, so stream “Strange” below to get excited for Palomino! Hopefully she releases more singles, snippets, and tidbits in the coming weeks.
Make sure to follow Miranda Lambert on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to see if she teases anything else!
