Speak Now (Taylor’s Version): a true masterpiece, should not come as a surprise to any Swift fan, or person in general, that the superstar’s most recent rerelease is nothing short of perfection.

On a journey to take back and own all of her work previous to Lover, Taylor Swift has been rerecording and releasing her music steadily, starting two years ago with Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and now continuing with Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).

Taylor’s Moving Speak Now Announcement Post Below!

“It’s here. It’s yours, it’s mine, it’s ours,” Swift wrote on social media. “It’s an album I wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20. I remember making tracklist after tracklist, obsessing over the right way to tell the story. I had to be ruthless with my choices, and I left behind some songs I am still unfailingly proud of now. Therefore, you have 6 From The Vault tracks! I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and the memories it brought back filled me with nostalgia and appreciation. For life, for you, for the fact that I get to reclaim my work. Thank you a million times, for the memories that break our fall. ??? Speak Now (MY VERSION!) is out now.”

Look at Taylor Swift’s Release Day Post Below!

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), released on July 7, 2023, consists of the original 16 songs plus six brand new From The Vault tracks that have never before been heard. Two of the Vault songs have the likes of Fall Out Boy and Paramore’s Hayley Williams.

It has always been interesting to hear the differences between the original songs and Swift’s rerecorded songs, and the anticipation that leads up to hear the similarities is nail-biting. This is mainly due to the fact that this specific record dates back to Swift’s country music days, and many fans still wanted to hear that slight country twang and passion. While Taylor did indeed cut a few of those twang-filled words from the rerecord, fans were delighted that she still kept quite a few of them.

With Swift currently embarking on a tour that continuously is breaking records, she joins Kansas City on the day of the release. After she finishes the Eras Tour in North America, she is then headed to South America and Europe.

Despite this album coming out today, fans have long since been speculating her next rerelease, assuming that Swift is dropping hints that it is her fifth studio album, 1989. Whether or not this is her next one, fans have yet to have it confirmed, but for now, we are delighted to have Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) finally belonging to Taylor.
