In fact, according to Taylor’s social media, the track was actually cut outside. “I’ve never cut an outside song before…but the first time I heard ‘Girl Wonder’ I had to catch myself,” Taylor shared on her Facebook.
“Girl Wonder” is about the pull of a mysterious guy. His aura and mannerisms entrance Taylor. This guy is an enigma, and Taylor reveals she’s willing to fall under his spell.
